Not unlike Rasmussen training in Italy, I'm getting ready for my three days in the mountains. It all begins tomorrow, when my Tour takes me through Boulder, and then south up to Fairplay. I'm stocking up on the steroids and caffeine, and I've been struck by a serious case of startitis - getting new projects ready to take with me.
But don't fear, I've also been busy on my green jersey knitting. In fact, I can now present Market Bag #3:
I've obviously got some ends to weave in, but otherwise this one is done.
All three bags are knitted up now, but there's a bit of a problem in the peloton:
Something went a bit wrong with bag #2. I seamed it up differently than the others. Since I haven't yet woven in those ends, I am entertaining thoughts of ripping out the bottom seam and redoing it. Or I may just let it go. Who knows? Either way, I am very, very close to green. Boonen - I'll be seeing you on the podium! Unless the International Knitting Federation starts asking questions about where I've been training these past few weeks...
This Tour is sort of turning into the "last man standing," isn't it?!

The bags look great! Is Bag #2 just turned differently than the other two? It looks like the handles are different, but it might just be the angle.

Honestly, I think the messed up one looks closer to the pattern picture. Maybe it's just me.
